As the tour is drawing to a close, you learn there are a couple more people you get to meet. To explain the impact being made by after-school programming, which is organized by Boys and Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton & Area Out-of-School Time coordinator, you have the chance to hear from a father and son who use the program.

Youth who attend, experience increased self-confidence and self-esteem, have positive feelings about school and have healthy social behaviours which all contribute to greater academic success. Parents of students recognize such programming not only provides a safe place for their children to go after school, but also provides children with a variety of activities and helps them develop friendships.
