Community Impact Speakers

A Community Impact Speaker helps your team understand why their support matters. 

These speakers are community members and agency partners who share personal, first-hand stories that show the real challenges people face across our region, and how donor support through United Way creates meaningful, systemic change. 

In just a few minutes, a speaker can turn United Way from something people know about into something they feel connected to. 

Each speaker is supported and prepared by United Way to deliver a compelling story that connects community need directly to donor action. We work closely with you to match the most appropriate speaker to your audience, industry, and campaign goals. 

Presentations are typically 5–10 minutes, and many speakers are happy to stay for an informal Q&A if time allows. 

A minimum audience of 20 people is required to book a speaker. If your group is smaller, your campaign manager can provide a presentation or you can share one of our impact videos to help bring the message to life.
