As Da Bom Squad Coordinator, a program of the Neighbourhood Empowerment Team initiative, Constable Horchuk has witnessed a physical and emotional transformation in Richard since the first day of training. Richards group spent a lot of time team building which included a day at the EPS and Edmonton Fire Department. In addition to the physical demands, the program challenges youth to increase their emotional development, delivering presentations on grief and bereavement, ethics and integrity, and drug and gang education. Both Richard and Michelle have forged a strong relationship and look forward to helping more youth in the Alberta Capital Region reach their full potential.
